PAGASA Update: February 17, 2013

Synopsis:
At 2:00 pm today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 1,210 km East of Southern Mindanao (6.0°N, 138.0°E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Luzon.

Forecast: 
The regions of CARAGA and Davao will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Mindanao will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms. Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail throughout the archipelago and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
